What was your biggest lesson learned from this challenge?
“The biggest lesson that I learned from this challenge was acceptance. I’ve learned to accept my body and to stop comparing myself to fit women on magazines or TV. Being fit is not only about tone muscles and hardcore abs, fitness is part of healthy lifestyle that involves feeding your body nutritious food, taking rest when needed, and finding a balance when life becomes overwhelming. For me being fit is a mental, sometimes we focus to much on the way we look instead of how we feel. Before the challenge, I was obsessed with getting a six pack, which is great to have a goal and be driven by it; however, I was missing the big picture of why I am working out and why I chose to eat healthy…because I want to be healthy. The challenge truly allowed me to feel great both mentally and physically.”
